What is Electrical Muscle Stimulation Therapy?

Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) generates contraction of the muscle tissue. The contractions decrease muscle spasms by delivering nutrient enriched blood supply to the restriction as well as releasing endorphins to reduce pain. EMS is also used to prevent muscle atrophy (the loss of muscle tissue) due to inactivity and/or neuromuscular imbalance.

Benefits of Using EMS Therapy

  • Speed Up Recovery
  • Decreases Inflammation
  • Reverse Muscle Atrophy
  • Alleviate Muscle Spasms

  • Reduces Muscles Restriction
  • Relieves Muscle Tension
